Import / used checklist
• Power on; update system software on trusted Wi‑Fi. • Test both Joy-Con 2 units for drift, mouse sensors (if present), and HD rumble. • Dock to a known-good 4K TV; confirm handheld ↔ TV switching. • Insert microSD Express only if Nintendo documents that media class for Switch 2 — do not assume Switch 1 cards are ideal. • Create or sign in with your Nintendo Account; avoid seller-linked saves.

Is GTA VI on Switch 2? As of this update, treat console exclusivity claims as unverified unless Rockstar/Nintendo publish them — this page stays hardware-focused. Can I use my OLED dock? Do not assume cross-dock compatibility; use the Switch 2 dock supplied or documented by Nintendo. Is there Nintendo service in India? No full official consumer channel — factor private repair cost into import pricing.

Hardware and game library
Switch 2 is a separate hardware generation. It supports its own games and compatible physical and digital Switch software, with exceptions that need checking by title. The 1080p LCD supports HDR and variable refresh capabilities; output and performance still depend on the game and mode.
Choosing the right model
Buy microSD Express storage rather than assuming an ordinary Switch microSD card is suitable for game storage. Check the regional package, language restrictions and game compatibility. Japanese domestic and multilingual packages should not be treated as interchangeable. A game-key card can require a download, so inspect the software packaging as well as the console box.

Buying in India: Nintendo Account region
Pick one eShop country and stick to it for purchases. Changing countries has cooldown rules. If you already own a large Switch OLED library on a US or JP account, keep using that account on Switch 2 rather than splitting wallets.
