Hardware and game library
Steam Deck LCD and OLED are different hardware configurations. OLED changes more than the panel, including battery and connectivity details. Steam Deck Verified is a per-game compatibility assessment, not a guarantee that every PC game and anti-cheat system works in SteamOS.
Choosing the right model
Check the model and original storage configuration, especially where a seller has replaced the SSD. Inspect the USB-C port, sticks, trackpads and screen. The white limited edition retains the 1TB OLED specifications; a different shell is not a faster processor. Shipping and support availability vary by territory.
Model and edition registry
Selected documented models and editions. This registry does not yet include every regional SKU, promotional unit or limited edition.
The reference photograph shows the original LCD model, while these figures are explicitly for OLED. Valve lists SteamOS 3 with KDE Plasma desktop software. A higher-refresh display or output specification does not establish that every game reaches that frame rate, and game compatibility must be checked separately.
This hardware record does not yet have a verified GTA compatibility entry. Check the GTA release-platform catalogue before buying it for a particular game. Do not assume support through emulation, streaming or backwards compatibility.
Images identify the pictured hardware; they are not evidence for every variant listed. Missing regional SKUs and undocumented editions remain outside this guide. Send a correction with a source.
