Privacy notice

This notice describes the website’s current operation. Last updated 24 October 2026.

Who to contact

NextPlayIntel operates this independent gaming publication. For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us, email contact@nextplayintel.com.

When you visit

Our hosting server processes information needed to deliver and protect the website. Server logs can include IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser information and error details. These records support operation, troubleshooting and security.

When you email us

We receive your email address, message, attachments and email headers. We use them to respond to enquiries, investigate corrections and manage correspondence. Messages are stored in our mailbox; copies may also exist in backups. Send only information necessary for your enquiry.

Cookies and browser data

The administrator area uses a secure session cookie for sign-in. Public article search works in your browser, and filter selections appear in the page URL so you can share them. The current public site does not have an advertising tracker, Google Analytics tag or newsletter signup form.

External services and links

Our hosting and email infrastructure process data to provide these services. Links to game stores and other sources open services with their own privacy practices. We do not control how those services handle information after you visit them. Some article images may be hosted by their source website, which receives the request needed to load the image.

Retention and requests

Operational logs, correspondence and backups are retained for website administration, security and handling enquiries. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of correspondence you supplied; we may need to verify your request and explain any records that must be retained.

Changes

We will update this notice when we introduce analytics, subscriptions, advertising or other material changes to how information is handled.
