Gears of War: E-Day launched worldwide on 6 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC: 8:00 a.m. PDT and 11:00 a.m. EDT in the US, and 4:00 p.m. BST in the UK. Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade owners got five days of early access from 1 October 2026 at 15:00 UTC. It was on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one (Xbox Wire).

For players in India: INR prices and IST timing

Release in India (IST): Out now. The worldwide launch was 8:30 p.m. IST on 6 October 2026, and Premium Edition early access started at the same time on 1 October. Standard is ₹5,499 and Premium ₹7,999 on both Steam India and the Xbox Store India.

How to choose a store and edition

Start with the platform you already play on. Gears of War: E-Day is listed for Xbox Series X|S · PC (Xbox app / Microsoft Store and Steam) · cloud (Xbox Cloud Gaming with Game Pass Ultimate, GeForce NOW). Included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. No PlayStation version announced., and the cheapest store on a given day is rarely the best choice if your friends, saves or subscriptions live elsewhere. Compare the prices for your region in the table above, then check three things on the product page itself: the edition name, the platform badge (PS4 and PS5 or Xbox One and Series versions are sometimes sold as separate products), and whether the price shown is a time-limited sale.

Steam’s policy allows a refund request within 14 days of purchase if you have played under two hours. Microsoft Store refunds for digital games are reviewed case by case. If you have Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, try the game there before buying.

Because Gears of War: E-Day is already out, watch for seasonal store sales; the sale rows in our table show when a discount ends so you can decide whether to wait. Avoid grey-market “offline account” or key-reseller listings — they can be revoked, they are not covered by store refund rules, and they put your account at risk.
