Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at 00:00 UTC on Wednesday 4 November 2026, which is 4:00 pm PT and 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday 3 November. Netmarble's console release notice sets one simultaneous worldwide unlock for both consoles, and its press release prices the Standard Edition at $39.99 and the Deluxe Edition at $44.99. The PlayStation Store listing carries the same 00:00 UTC, 4 November release stamp.

Arise Overdrive is the paid action RPG based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong, DUBU (REDICE Studio) and h-goon. It has been on PC since November 2025, and Steam lists it at the same $39.99. It isn't Solo Leveling: Arise, Netmarble's free-to-play gacha game for mobile and PC, so there are no character pulls to progress the story.

US daylight saving time ended on 1 November, which is why the 4:00 pm PT unlock falls exactly on midnight UTC. Netmarble hasn't announced pre-loading or a console download size. For reference, the Microsoft Store lists a maximum install size of about 49 GB for the PC version. In India, the game unlocks at 5:30 am IST on Wednesday 4 November.

Standard vs Deluxe Edition

Standard Edition, $39.99: the full game.

Deluxe Edition, $44.99: the full game plus a costume for Sung Jinwoo, a Cha Hae-In emoji set and what Netmarble calls "a selection of additional items." The $5 difference buys cosmetics and extras, not extra story or modes, so the Standard Edition is the full experience.

Online co-op on consoles normally needs PlayStation Plus on PS5 or Game Pass Essential or higher on Xbox, and Netmarble hasn't announced an exception.

What kind of game it is

You play Hunter Sung Jinwoo, who rises from the weakest E-rank hunter to the Monarch of Shadows. Netmarble's pitch is animated, combo-heavy combat, skill and playstyle customisation, Jinwoo's Monarch abilities, and 4-player co-op raids against bosses. Full voice-over is in Korean, Japanese and English, with text in 13 languages including Thai, Indonesian, Portuguese and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

How the PC version has done

A year after launch, the PC version has a Mostly Positive rating on Steam: 75% of 3,325 English-language reviews are positive, and 74% of the 105 reviews in the last 30 days. Steam's own player count showed 166 people in the game at 10:38 UTC on 2 November. That's a small active base for a licence this big, so consoles, where Solo Leveling's anime audience is large, are the game's best chance at a second wind. The Solo Leveling anime streams on Crunchyroll, which covered the console date.

Confirmed and not confirmed

Confirmed by Netmarble: the 00:00 UTC, 4 November release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the $39.99 and $44.99 editions, the Deluxe Edition's costume and emoji set, 4-player co-op raids, and the voice and text languages.

Not confirmed: pre-load times, console download sizes, PS5 Pro or Xbox Series X enhancements, cross-play between PS5, Xbox and PC, and whether Steam players can carry progress to consoles. The Microsoft Store listing, which still shows the PC release, lists Xbox cross-platform multiplayer, but Netmarble hasn't said how that works on consoles. Until it does, plan on buying the console version separately and starting fresh.
