What distinguishes this package

The custom console has coloured power/eject buttons and three front emblems. Sony also offered ordinary Jet Black bundles, including a UK 500GB package. Those are not the custom 1TB edition. Check both console artwork and controller design when comparing a used listing.

Orange-and-black 1TB edition

The three console-front emblems represent campaign, multiplayer and Zombies. Sony also listed ordinary Jet Black game bundles, including a 500GB UK option. Those are separate packages, so Black Ops III branding on a box is not enough to identify the custom console.

Japanese launch package and expired entitlement

The Japanese package supplied the PS4 game, mono headset, power, HDMI and USB cables. Its one-month PS Plus voucher expired on 5 February 2016. A seller should not present that original voucher as a usable subscription. The console package identifier is separate from the controller’s own part number.

Model and package identifiers in manufacturer documentation

A hardware model number is different from a retailer SKU, barcode or serial number. These are the codes explicitly named in the linked manufacturer documents. The region identifies the documentation archive; it does not establish exclusive sale in that country.

Browse the regional source archive

Match the full label on the console and its box. A shared family number alone does not authenticate a special-edition shell, identify every bundle accessory or establish current repair eligibility.

GTA editions to check for this hardware

These links match the release-platform labels in our GTA catalogue. Open the game guide for its edition and sources. This is not a complete backwards-compatibility list or a guarantee of current store availability.

Buying this edition

Read the shared inspection and import checklist before using the region selector. The documented package is for European announcement; seller contents and current availability can differ.
