The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched digitally worldwide on Thursday 29 October 2026 for $24.99 on PC (Steam, including Steam Deck, and the Epic Games Store), PS5 and Xbox One, where it also plays on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. Telltale and publisher PM Studios also confirmed, for the first time, that choices made in the remaster will carry into The Wolf Among Us 2.

A 20% launch discount runs from 29 October to 12 November 2026, which puts the Steam price at $19.99 right now. On PlayStation, that launch discount is only for PS Plus members. People who own the original game digitally can get up to half off instead, on the same platform and account. The two offers can't be combined.

  • Noir Mode: an optional black-and-white look for the whole game.

  • Extras: a gallery of more than 100 pieces of artwork and over an hour of developer interviews.

  • All five episodes: Faith, Smoke and Mirrors, A Crooked Mile, In Sheep's Clothing and Cry Wolf.

Your choices now carry into The Wolf Among Us 2

This is the part that matters most for fans who have waited years for the sequel. If you sign in to a Telltale Account while you play the remaster, your defining choices can be carried into The Wolf Among Us 2. If you skip the remaster, the sequel will let you set your past choices at the start, so you don't need to replay anything. Telltale did not give a release date for The Wolf Among Us 2 in this announcement.

Background

The Wolf Among Us first came out in 2013 as a five-episode series based on DC's Fables comics. You play Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community of fairy-tale characters living in 1980s New York, as he investigates a murder. The remaster is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC. Telltale's brand is now owned by LCG Entertainment.
