Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.7, "Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars", launches on Wednesday 11 November, HoYoverse announced on Friday 30 October. The headline addition is Aeon ★ Aha, the Aeon of Elation, as a playable limited 5-star character. HoYoverse calls the update the finale of the Planarcadia arc.

HoYoverse hasn't posted the 4.7 maintenance time yet. Its Version 4.6 notice says that version runs until 06:00 UTC+8 on 11 November, which is 22:00 UTC on 10 November (5:00 pm ET). Recent updates have started at that time and taken about five hours, but treat that as a pattern until the 4.7 notice confirms it.

Who's on the banners

  • New: Aeon ★ Aha, a limited 5-star on the Path of Elation. Aha raises the Path of Elation for the team's Elation characters and fills a Wishpower meter during battle. When the meter is full, Aha's Ultimate deals Elation damage to all enemies, and allied attacks can cut enemy Max HP.

  • First-half reruns: Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie and Yao Guang.

  • Second-half reruns: Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan.

Those three second-half characters are also the first to get Affinitive Eidolons, a new growth system. Owning the designated characters and unlocking their Affinitive Eidolons adds new abilities and combat buffs. HoYoverse hasn't said which characters will get them next. For players who skipped Acheron or Jing Yuan, that makes the second half the more important banner window.

Story, events and modes

The story follows Aha's "Final Phantasmoon Games", a hunt for the leviathan known as the Voracity, staged aboard a cake-like ship called the Starfroster. New events include The Fluffy Movie: Overheated, a dessert-shop event where you earn Gold Coins for Aha, and Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame, a combat event. The permanent Currency Wars mode starts its second season, Voyage Into the Canvas. HoYoverse is also releasing an animated short, A Joyful Funeral Beneath the Moon, and a new song, Ex Nihilo, on launch day.

What the Star Lotto outfit costs

Aha's "Star Lotto" outfit is sold only through the Phantasia Showstage draw, which runs from the 4.7 update until 03:59 UTC+8 on 23 December (19:59 UTC on 22 December). The first draw is free. Each draw after that costs more Fashion Invites, and one Fashion Invite costs 100 Stellar Jade. Each draw also raises the chance of getting the outfit, and the eighth draw is guaranteed, so the worst case is 87 invites, or 8,700 Stellar Jade.

Confirmed and not confirmed

Confirmed: the 11 November launch, Aha and the six reruns, Affinitive Eidolons for the first three characters, the events and the outfit draw rules. Not confirmed: the exact maintenance window, any maintenance compensation for 4.7, and the date the second-half banners start.

Honkai: Star Rail is free to play on PC, PS5, iOS, Android and the Epic Games Store, and HoYoverse says it has passed 150 million downloads.
