Funcom has confirmed that Conan Exiles Enhanced is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027 as a free upgrade for everyone who already owns Conan Exiles on PlayStation or Xbox. Your Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC and Twitch Drops carry over, and full cross-play is promised "soon after launch." Funcom also announced that Aloft, the co-op sky-island survival game it publishes, will reach PS5 in early 2027 alongside its 1.0 release on PC. Neither game has a release date yet.
The upgrade comes with some catches for existing players, especially anyone with a base on the Isle of Siptah. Below we explain the free upgrade, what carries over and what doesn't, current prices in India and what to do before launch.
What Funcom announced
Funcom made the announcement on 27 October 2026 in a press release, a PlayStation Blog post and a detailed Conan Exiles blog post and FAQ. Conan Exiles Enhanced is the upgraded version of Funcom's open-world survival game, already available as a free update for Steam owners on PC. Now it's coming to current-generation consoles.
Funcom CEO Scott Junior said: "We've heard loud and clear from our console community that they want to experience the Enhanced version of Conan Exiles. We're very happy to finally confirm that it's on the way." He also noted that the game is approaching its 10th anniversary.

What changes in Conan Exiles Enhanced
Funcom says the Enhanced version brings:
Better-looking environments, characters, lighting and effects.
A redesigned user interface.
Performance improvements and quality-of-life changes for current consoles.
The Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah merged into one more seamless world. Siptah is still a separate purchase.
The Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc and all Bazaar items released for Enhanced on Steam, available on consoles from day one.
On PC, Funcom also says Part Three of Legacy of the Giant-Kings arrives on 10 November 2026, with the character Akhamet playing a bigger role.
What carries over, and what doesn't
This is the part existing players need to read. Funcom's FAQ says Conan Exiles Enhanced will be its own game on consoles, separate from the current version, which will be renamed Conan Exiles Legacy. If you own Conan Exiles on PlayStation or Xbox, you get Enhanced automatically for free. Anyone who buys either version later gets both.

Funcom recommends that if you plan to keep playing Legacy, you should spend your Crom Coins before Enhanced launches, because they won't work there afterwards. Legacy will only get fixes for critical bugs, no new content. Funcom says it will share more on how players and private server hosts can prepare closer to release.
Aloft is coming to PS5 too
Aloft is a cosy co-op sandbox survival game from Astrolabe Interactive. You turn floating islands into skyships, build a home in the clouds, look after animals and cure a fungal corruption spreading across the sky. It entered Early Access on PC on 15 January 2025, according to Gematsu, and has had five major content updates since.
Funcom says the PS5 version will launch in early 2027, when Aloft leaves Early Access and reaches 1.0 on PC. It will include everything from Early Access plus the 1.0 update. Funcom also just launched Dune: Awakening on PS5, so Aloft and Conan Exiles Enhanced are its next two console releases. You can wishlist both on the PlayStation Store now.
What it means for players in India
If you already own Conan Exiles on PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, this is good news: you won't have to pay again for the current-gen version. On PC, the Enhanced version is already the one sold on Steam. These are the Steam India prices we saw on 28 October 2026:

Funcom hasn't announced PS5 or Xbox Series X|S prices in rupees for the new versions. Since buying either console version gets you both, new players won't have to choose. Cross-play, when it arrives, should make it easier to find people to play with across PC and console, which helps on servers with fewer players.
How to get ready, step by step
Check that you own it on console. Look for Conan Exiles in your PlayStation or Xbox library. Ownership is what unlocks the free upgrade.
Spend Crom Coins if you're staying on Legacy. Once Enhanced launches, Crom Coins only work in Enhanced.
Note your Isle of Siptah base. Siptah bases won't be preserved, so plan to rebuild after the move.

Background
Conan Exiles is set in Robert E. Howard's world of Conan the Barbarian. Its full release came on 8 May 2018, according to its Steam listing, after a period in Early Access. It has been updated many times since, and the Isle of Siptah expansion added a second map. The Enhanced version is Funcom's biggest technical overhaul of the game. Funcom says it plans to keep supporting Enhanced with new content on all platforms “throughout 2027 and beyond.”
