On PS4 and Xbox One, CD PROJEKT RED stopped at the base game: the expansion and Update 2.0 were built for current hardware only. If you own the PS4 version, the PS5 upgrade of the base game is free, but Phantom Liberty is still a separate purchase on PS5.

PC and Mac requirements
CD PROJEKT RED Support says the same requirements apply to the base game and Phantom Liberty from Update 2.0. Minimum (1080p, low, 30 FPS): 64-bit Windows 10, Core i7-6700 or Ryzen 5 1600, GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB, Radeon RX 580 8 GB or Arc A380, 12 GB RAM and 70 GB on an SSD. Recommended (1080p, high, 60 FPS): Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 2060 Super, RX 5700 XT or Arc A770, and 16 GB RAM. A hard drive is no longer supported.
On Mac, the App Store listing asks for macOS 15.5 or later, at least an M1 with 16 GB of memory, and about 159 GB with all voice-overs, plus roughly 15% extra during installation. Ray tracing needs an M3 or newer.

PC saves are in Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 and sync through Steam Cloud, GOG Galaxy or Epic cloud saves. Back that folder up before switching stores or reinstalling.

Steam India lists Phantom Liberty at ₹1,499 and the base game at ₹2,999 (31 October 2026). PlayStation Store India had the PS5 base game on sale at Rs 1,199 until 4 November 2026 in our last check. Nintendo has no India eShop, so Switch 2 players need an imported game card or a foreign eShop account; we do not recommend grey-market codes.
