In brief: Cyberpunk 2077 has no cheat codes, button combinations or cheat menu on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac or Nintendo Switch 2, and CD PROJEKT RED has never released any. What the game does have is a set of unlockable endings, a secret ending hidden behind three dialogue choices and a five-minute wait, and item rewards that carry back to your save. This page lists all of them with the exact requirements, so you can plan a playthrough without missing anything.

Our full cheat table is on the Cyberpunk 2077 cheats page at https://nextplayintel.com/cheats/cyberpunk-2077/. The game page at https://nextplayintel.com/games/cyberpunk-2077/ keeps prices, platforms and PC specs.
Are there any Cyberpunk 2077 cheat codes?
No. There are no official cheat codes on any platform. Lists of 'PS5 Cyberpunk cheats' that ask you to press button sequences on the pause menu are fabricated: nothing happens if you try them, and no CD PROJEKT RED patch note, support article or store page mentions a cheat system.
On PC you will find guides to 'console commands' such as adding money or items. These rely on Cyber Engine Tweaks, a third-party mod. It is not made or supported by CD PROJEKT RED, it must be updated after every game patch, and using it can corrupt saves or disable achievements depending on what you change. We do not list those commands, because they are not part of the game and they change with each mod release. If you want to change your build legitimately, Update 2.0 lets you reset perks freely and gives a one-time attribute respec.
Before you chase endings: save in the right place
Every main ending is chosen on Misty's rooftop during the quest Nocturne Op55N1, the point of no return. The game warns you before it starts. Make a manual save there.
When you finish an ending, the game returns you to the last save before Nocturne Op55N1 and adds that ending's rewards to it. That means you can see every ending in one playthrough: finish one, reload, choose another. Side jobs you leave unfinished before the rooftop cannot be completed afterwards in that run, so finish the Panam and Rogue chains first if you want all options.
Every main ending and what it needs
Ending (achievement) | What happens | What you must do first |
|---|---|---|
The Devil | V sides with Arasaka | Call Hanako on the rooftop and take the omega-blockers. Keep Takemura alive in Search and Destroy; if he dies, the ending changes and the achievement does not unlock. |
The Star | V leaves Night City with the Aldecaldos | Finish Panam's side jobs up to Queen of the Highway, call Panam, take the omega-blockers and enter the well as V inside Mikoshi. |
The Sun | V becomes a legend of the Afterlife | Finish Rogue's Blistering Love after choosing the right replies to Johnny in Chippin' In, follow Johnny's plan to ask Rogue for help, take the pseudoendotrizine and cross the bridge as Johnny. |
Temperance | Johnny keeps the body | Take Panam's or Rogue's route, then let Johnny stay in the body inside Mikoshi. |
Path of Least Resistance | V ends it on the rooftop | Choose the first rooftop option, then 'Could also just put all this to rest' and '[Toss pills]'. No achievement and no rewards. |

The secret ending: (Don't Fear) The Reaper
The secret ending is a harder version of The Sun in which V and Johnny attack Arasaka Tower alone, with no allies. To unlock it, finish Chippin' In and pick these three replies to Johnny at the Northern Oil Fields: 'Nah, fucked that up too.', then 'What do you want from me?', then 'Ok. But as second chances go, this is your last.'
Later, on Misty's rooftop, do not choose anyone. Wait about five minutes. Johnny then offers a new option; accepting it starts (Don't Fear) The Reaper. If V dies at any point in this run, the credits roll and the game treats it as V's death, so save before you accept. If you succeed, you reach The Sun or Temperance depending on your Mikoshi choice. It is also the only way Rogue survives into the epilogue of The Sun.
Phantom Liberty: The Tower ending
The Phantom Liberty expansion (PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and included in the Ultimate Edition on Apple silicon Mac and Switch 2; not on PS4 or Xbox One) adds a fifth main ending, The Tower. To get it, side with Solomon Reed during the expansion and accept his offer, then call Reed during Who Wants To Live Forever or on the rooftop in Nocturne Op55N1. V survives and leaves Night City, but the epilogue is very different from the others.
You can reach the expansion from an existing save after the main quest Transmission, or from New Game by choosing to skip ahead to Phantom Liberty, which starts you at level 15 in Dogtown with points pre-allocated.
Rewards from each ending
Every ending except Path of Least Resistance adds Legendary Gorilla Arms and the Militech Berserk to your save. The extras differ:
The Devil: Genjiroh (missable), Access Token, The Devil tarot card. The Star: Aldecaldos rally bolero jacket and Amnesty (missable), Access Token, Judgement tarot. The Sun: Prejudice, Caretaker's Spade and Pride (all missable), Access Token, Judgement tarot. Secret ending: Access Token and Judgement tarot. The Tower: Access Token. Temperance gives the same rewards as the route you took into it.
Missable items are found during the final missions rather than handed to you at the end, so look for them on the way: for example, Pride is near the entrance gate after the Adam Smasher fight in The Sun.

Still stuck?
If an ending's achievement did not unlock, the usual cause is a missed prerequisite, such as Takemura dying before The Devil, or ending on the wrong Mikoshi choice. Reload the rooftop save and try again. For technical problems such as crashes or missing DLC, CD PROJEKT RED Support is the official channel: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk.
Frequently asked questions
Does Cyberpunk 2077 have cheat codes?
No. There are no cheat codes on PS5, Xbox, PC, Mac or Switch 2. PC console commands come from the unofficial Cyber Engine Tweaks mod.
How do I get the secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077?
Pick the three right replies to Johnny at the end of Chippin' In, then wait about five minutes on Misty's rooftop without choosing. Johnny offers (Don't Fear) The Reaper.
Can I see every ending in one playthrough?
Yes. After each ending the game returns you to the save before Nocturne Op55N1 with that ending's rewards added, so you can reload and choose another.
Which ending is the best?
There is no single best ending; it depends on which story you want. The Sun and The Star are the most popular, and The Tower is the only one where V is cured.
Do cheats or mods disable achievements?
There are no official cheats. Mods are unsupported by CD PROJEKT RED, and editing your save with them can stop progress or achievements tracking properly.
