Hardware and game library
Pokémon mini is a distinct system, not a smaller Game Boy. It uses its own cartridges and supports game-specific rumble, motion input and infrared multiplayer. Its green, purple and blue colours reference Chikorita, Smoochum and Wooper.
Choosing the right model
Confirm that an actual Pokémon mini game is included. A Game Boy Pokémon cartridge is not compatible. Test buttons, display, battery contacts and supported rumble. Multiplayer requires compatible software and another system; the infrared feature alone does not guarantee every game supports it.
Model and edition registry
Selected documented models and editions. This registry does not yet include every regional SKU, promotional unit or limited edition.
The cartridge library is specific to Pokémon mini. Motion sensing and rumble are used only by games carrying the corresponding feature support. Nintendo describes infrared multiplayer for up to six players in supported software, rather than a universal six-player mode in every cartridge.
This hardware record does not yet have a verified GTA compatibility entry. Check the GTA release-platform catalogue before buying it for a particular game. Do not assume support through emulation, streaming or backwards compatibility.
Images identify the pictured hardware; they are not evidence for every variant listed. Missing regional SKUs and undocumented editions remain outside this guide. Send a correction with a source.
