Hello Games released No Man's Sky update 7.10, Forsaken on 28 October 2026. It is a free Halloween-themed update that adds forsaken traders, biomechanical corvette parts, space courier missions and seamless warping to nearby stars. Alongside it, the studio says the full game is now on iPhone and iPad, free to start with a $19.99 Full Game Unlock on the US App Store.

The update is listed for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Switch and Switch 2, and iOS on Hello Games' release log.

What Forsaken adds

  • Haunting mementos and forsaken traders: collect samples from deep-space hulks, infested outposts, derelict freighters and digsites. You trade them at space outposts for new corvette cockpits, habs and hull parts. Stay too long and hostile "boundary horrors" appear.

  • New cosmetics: a Larva Tank helmet and the Mind Harvester title for dedicated collectors, plus a Larva Cannon Multi-Tool bought with preserved grubs.

  • Seamless warping: nearby stars appear as targets in space and you can warp to them without opening the Galaxy Map.

  • Space courier missions: package deliveries from deep-space outposts for players with a corvette and a gravitino coil.

  • Quality of life: a Minimal HUD mode, a radial Multi-Tool wheel, uploadable space bases, Holo-Arena battles at deep-space outposts and a corvette landing pad at planetary trading outposts.

No Man's Sky on iPhone and iPad

Hello Games says the iOS version is "the full experience" of No Man's Sky, with an interface built for touch and an engine tuned for battery life and heat. The App Store listing says you can play the start of the game free, then buy a one-time unlock that includes 10 years of updates.

What's unconfirmed

  • An exact iOS launch time in each region. Apple's storefronts showed different availability when we checked at 14:45 UTC on 28 October.

  • Whether iOS saves link with other platforms through Hello Games' cross-save. Neither the patch notes nor the App Store listing mention it.

Background

Forsaken is the fifth major update of 2026, after Remnant, Xeno Arena, The Swarm and September's Cosmos, according to Hello Games founder Sean Murray on Xbox Wire. Murray says the team is already planning updates for 2027.

Regional note: the iOS Full Game Unlock is ₹1,999 on the Indian App Store, where the game is already listed.
