What is available now
Nintendo’s October 2026 Switch Online update is live as of 27 October 2026 (Asia/Calcutta). Any Nintendo Switch Online membership unlocks three Game Boy – Nintendo Classics titles: Avenging Spirit, Mole Mania and Revenge of the ‘Gator. Nintendo Life also confirmed the same trio for Japan.
These are subscription library additions, not standalone eShop purchases. You need an active membership and a Nintendo Account. Nintendo also offers a free 7-day Switch Online trial in regions where that trial is sold, with conversion terms shown at signup.
Expansion Pack Game Boy Advance titles
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members additionally receive three Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics games in the same update window: Monster Rancher Advance, Metal Slug Advance and Kururin Paradise. A standard Switch Online plan alone is not enough for the GBA set.
How to start playing
On Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, update the Game Boy – Nintendo Classics (and Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics, if you have Expansion Pack) app from Nintendo eShop, open the app while signed into your membership account, then download the new titles from the library list. If a game does not appear, confirm membership tier, region and that the app finished updating.
India pricing for Switch Online Individual or Family plans is whatever the local eShop shows for your account; this article does not invent a rupee figure. Compare the benefits screen before renewing solely for these classics.
