San Andreas has a particularly broad cheat system, covering CJ's equipment, vehicles, pursuit and physical abilities. Its most familiar code combines health, armor and money, but not every useful effect is bundled into that one entry. A jetpack, a parachute and a wanted-level lock each solve a different problem.

This guide provides a practical selection rather than mixing every original, remastered and mobile claim into one list. NextPlayIntel has not tested the codes in gameplay. The San Andreas profile explains the story, development team and character systems.

GTA San Andreas PC cheat codes

Type the word during gameplay. Preserve the spelling and do not add spaces to make the words easier to read.

  • Health, armor and $250,000: HESOYAM.

  • First weapon group: LXGIWYL.

  • Second weapon group: KJKSZPJ.

  • Third weapon group: UZUMYMW.

  • Unlimited ammunition: FULLCLIP.

  • Jetpack: ROCKETMAN.

  • Parachute: AIYPWZQP.

  • Remove wanted level: ASNAEB.

  • Raise wanted level: OSRBLHH.

  • Lock wanted level: AEZAKMI.

  • Maximum muscle: JYSDSOD.

These are documented in Grand Theft Wiki's San Andreas reference. Locking a wanted level and clearing it are not the same operation. Check the current stars before deciding which effect is intended.

PlayStation health, weapons and jetpack

  • Health, armor and cash: R1, R2, L1, Cross, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up.

  • First weapon group: R1, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up.

  • Jetpack: Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, Up, Down, Left, Right.

  • Remove wanted level: R1, R1, Circle, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down.

Use the directional pad for directions. The GTABase PlayStation reference provides the platform-specific list, while its jetpack entry identifies the vehicle effect. Cross is not the Xbox X button.

Xbox and Nintendo Switch Definitive Edition

For modern Xbox Definitive Edition, the combined health, armor and cash sequence is RB, RT, LB, A, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up. This uses modern bumper and trigger labels. Do not silently substitute it for an original Xbox or another port's mapping.

For Nintendo Switch, the documented equivalent is R, ZR, L, B, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up. Nintendo's B position and label differ from Xbox's B, so copying a list by matching letters is not a valid conversion method.

The Switch reference and cross-platform list document these inputs. For additional collection-specific distinctions, read the Definitive Edition guide.

Health is not invulnerability

HESOYAM restores resources at the moment of use. It does not establish permanent protection from future damage. Historical lists also describe BAGUVIX as an invulnerability-related effect, but that effect has limitations and should not be advertised as protection from every hazard on every edition.

Similarly, a parachute gives equipment rather than automatically guaranteeing a safe landing. A jetpack changes movement options rather than completing a mission objective. Keep the advertised effect narrow enough that a reader can tell what actually happened.

Classic mobile and remastered mobile

The original Android and iOS ports are separate from the mobile Definitive Edition. Their input support should not be inferred from a PC video. Some guides depend on external keyboards or additional software, which is not equivalent to a built-in touch-screen menu.

This guide does not guarantee a universal mobile-entry method. Identify the exact app and version before following instructions. A claim about a menu in one mobile edition must not be copied to another app simply because both display San Andreas in the title.

Mission behavior, saves and troubleshooting

Cheats that alter pedestrians can create problems beyond the immediate encounter, including mission behavior. Keep a clean save and use a separate experimental session. Do not promise that every world-changing code can be undone by typing it again.

If a controller sequence fails, check each shoulder button and use deliberate, continuous inputs. If a PC word fails, verify the spelling and the game edition. If the result differs from a guide, record the exact build and observed effect rather than assuming that all platforms are broken.

For ordinary progression, a code should be described as assistance with a defined resource or mechanic. It does not replace the game's story requirements, school objectives, property conditions or completion checklist. The GTA catalogue hub links the separate game and cheat references without combining their rules.
