Chucky Leaves Dead by Daylight on 24 Nov: Sale Dates

Chucky leaves Dead by Daylight's stores on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 11:00 ET (16:00 UTC), Behaviour Interactive has confirmed. After that, the Chucky Chapter and its cosmetics, including the Tiffany Legendary Outfit, can no longer be bought in-game or on any platform store. Anyone who unlocks him before the cutoff keeps him for good.

Behaviour is running a 50% last-chance sale first, but the start date depends on where you play: it is already live on Epic, Xbox/Windows and Switch, while PlayStation follows on 2 November and Steam on 10 November.

What happens to perks and achievements

If you don't own Chucky by the cutoff, his three perks move into the general perk pool so any killer can unlock them, under new names:

• Hex: Two Can Play becomes Hex: Eye For An Eye

• Friends 'Til the End becomes One Track Mind

• Batteries Included becomes Gaining Steam

Owners keep the original perk names and can still level and Prestige Chucky, use his add-ons and complete his quests. Chucky-specific achievements become generic ones. No new Chucky outfits will be released.

Why he is leaving

The licence is ending. Behaviour told IGN, as reported by VGC on 28 Oct, that its goal is "always to keep licenses in our game forever" and that when one is removed, "despite our best efforts" it "wasn't possible to retain" it. It added that horror icons have an "open invitation to join (or rejoin)" the game.

Chucky joined in November 2023. He follows Hellraiser's Pinhead, removed in 2025, and Halloween's Michael Myers, removed on 19 January 2026. A removed licence has come back before: Stranger Things' Demogorgon left in 2021 and returned two years later. Behaviour has not said whether Chucky will return.

Regional note: the cutoff is 9:30 PM IST on 24 Nov, and Steam India lists the Chucky Chapter at ₹289 before the sale.
