- Story Mode only. These phrases do not work in Red Dead Online.
- Activating any cheat disables saving and Trophies/Achievements for that session. Save manually before toggling a cheat on.
- You can enter a phrase and save without activating it, so the code stays unlocked in the Cheats menu for later.
- Punctuation in the English phrase must match; capitalisation does not matter.
- Several codes require a specific newspaper in your inventory after a story milestone. Buying every available paper in Valentine, Rhodes, Saint Denis, Strawberry, Annesburg and Blackwater is the reliable method.
- There is no invincibility cheat. Treat any site promising Online money cheats as unverified and unsafe.
- PS4 and PS5 share the same phrase entry method; Xbox One and Series X|S likewise. PC uses Left Shift for the Cheats menu.
