The confirmed announcement
Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on 17 September 2026, in partnership with Atlantic Records. Its official announcement gives 19 November as the release date alongside GTA VI and links to streaming pre-saves and limited-edition vinyl and CD preorders. We checked this information on 26 October. The album announcement itself is not new today.
Start with the official music page
Rockstar’s GTA VI music page brings together radio previews and album material. Use that page and the Newswire announcement as your starting points instead of treating an unofficial playlist as a confirmed track list. A playlist with a GTA title can be somebody’s selection; its name alone does not establish that its songs appear in the game.
Album, radio and the game are separate questions
For readers, the useful distinction is between listening to a music release, identifying songs in the game and buying the game itself. Do not assume an album listing describes every piece of music heard during play. Likewise, a physical music product should not be treated as a game edition or a game preorder. Check the actual contents on the listing before paying.
Before ordering a physical copy
Our buying checklist is straightforward: check the format, number of discs, seller, delivery country, shipping charge and estimated dispatch date. Save the product description and order confirmation. A release date and a delivery estimate answer different questions; do not plan around delivery on release day unless your chosen seller explicitly offers it.
For readers in India and the UAE, compare the final checkout total rather than converting a headline overseas price. This article does not quote a local price or promise international shipping because those depend on the particular store and destination. Check cancellation terms before placing more than one order to reserve different versions.
Before connecting a streaming account
Follow the link from Rockstar’s announcement and inspect the permissions requested by the music service before approving a pre-save. Decide whether you want to grant those permissions or simply return to the official music page near release. A reminder in your own calendar is another way to track the date without connecting a separate service.
What we will not assume
We are not presenting a complete soundtrack list, guaranteeing stock or claiming a particular physical edition includes the game. If you are shopping for GTA VI rather than its music, use our game hub for the separate platform and edition information.
